Fall 2018 Campus Prayer Requests

Spiritual Protection - As we’ve been reaching out to every corner of campus we’ve experienced more spiritual challenges. As we’ve attempted to reach the world through international student ministry, for example: 1) a Chinese ministry we worked with split three ways (not amicably), 2) two volunteers split (they were dating), 3) our two primary student leaders experienced a split, and 4) one of them, J, who was a missionary before grad school, has become agnostic. And all of this just in our international student ministry effort! Pray for us and pray for J to come back to faith. Our InterVarsity Campus Minister, Mickey Sanchez, met with J over the winter break and has managed to keep his window open to the possibility that his agnosticism might require more faith than faith in Christ. Please pray for more of those follow-ups and for our efforts to learn from J’s private doubts as we lean more into developing small group curriculum where any private doubts can be expressed and lovingly addressed.
